How would you describe yourself?
"When we nurture it slowly, it grows... When we indulge it impulsively, it shows... And when we get carried away with it, that's when our sanity goes!"
Necessities
Honesty:
I have learned many things in my lifetime, but the one that has yielded the greatest meaning is being honest and real with people 100% of the time. It takes practice being truthful, straight forward and bold with people, especially those that are close to you. When you lie to someone, you give them control over your life! Simple as that. On the contrary, we become naked or exposed when we are honest with ourselves and each other, and nobody wants to wear their heart on their sleeve. Nobody wants to run the risk of getting hurt, embarrassed, or worse (whatever that may be). I was honest once and it got me absolutely no where, but it didn't teach me to be dishonest... Because in the end, the opposition still wins. I'd rather be an honest loser than a sore one. You feel me?
Integrity:
What does it mean to be a person with integrity? Integrity essentially means being undivided or complete, reliable and trustworthy (a person who keeps their WORD). Have you ever been in a relationship with a person who absolutely had zero integrity... I most definitely was once. However, what does that say about me? To stay in a relationship with someone who cannot even keep their word and on top of that is a horrible liar? I didn't rely on my own instincts nor did I trust my own judgements. I was most definitely incomplete within myself... Let me tell you! I had no integrity because I didn't keep the promise I made to my own self. What can one expect in return?
Love:
Love, in my opinion, is unconditional but unfortunately, we live in a world that teaches "conditional" love. Hence one of the main reasons WHY we experience so many divorces. It is a challenge to love unconditionally because these types of relationships require time... Something that can NEVER be rushed no matter what we do or how we do it. It is ONLY possible to teach unconditional love if we ourselves practice what we teach. Who do you love unconditionally... Okay, outside of your Mamma or Daddy or other family members?
I am looking for
Men always ask... What do you want?: Well for starters...
It is imperative that I acquire an honest man, who stands on integrity and is willing to love me unconditionally... And faithfully! Also, it must be mutual. If I am ever put in a position where I feel I have to compromise my own integrity... The relationship is not worth it. Is that too much to ask? Of course, there are other things that I feel are essentially very important as well, such as, sense of humor, flexibility, and sexual compatibility but hey, we can discuss those later.
