Ever heard of dating website promoting prostitution? In China they do.
With stiff competition within the dating website sector in China, most dating websites have resorted to distributing pornographic materials and organizing cyber strip shows. Kicks of a dying horse. It’s all about doing all that’s in their power to make themselves more marketable so they can earn revenue.
China’s Internet watchdog has issued a warning to 12 dating sites, accusing them of promoting prostitution. The websites were given a deadline of June 1, to change the content of their sites.
One of the websites had a young woman describing herself as a “professional pleasure giverâ€? Other sites were found to be posting “service items, pricing and contact information.”
“The outrageous pimping content in some websites is very shocking,” said the Beijing Online News and Information Panel, consisting of government officials, academia and the public.
Do you support the China government on this or should the dating sites be left to do their thing?

LOL Fala
The only thing is if kids and teens have access to these sites, it would not be good. I’d imagine that there are a lot of teen boys in China stealing their parents credit cards for this…

Seriously, some of the profiles have pictures on them that look like they are from the 70’s. We all could spruce up the pictures every now and then. I met a guy from another site that sent me pictures of him as a man in his 30’s…the person that show up was NEARLY 60 YEARS OLD! EEEEEWWWWW!

The internet dating sites should always follow the rules that member must be at least 18 years old. If you think free online dating site a lot of scammer and fake, you wrong. You must be observe it first before you judge the other. If you want the truth there is..

@Jeramel, I agree with you, however most people lie about their identity; I think a stricter verification process should exist e.g sending a picture of yourself holding a sign or something! I had a guy send me a “second” picture of him that was from another guy’s profile. I ofcourse called him out on that one and he promptly cut communication with me. The guy whose picture he had tried to pass as his own had been in touch with me and had sent 11 additional pictures so I new that he was “real”. The scammer was “fitguy” or something fitguy? I forgot.. but yeah…”dater beware”!

Sometimes it’s really that simple, isn’t it? I feel a little stupid for not thinking of this myself/earlier, though.
