Ha ha ha ha ha … I could go on and on and on and…
Imagine if you had to wait this long to find Mr. or Mrs right… You get all wrinkly till you shed your skin. And since we human beings aren’t snakes, you got nothing but bones on you once that skin is gone… LOL!!! Well this is the situation we are faced with these days. Kuddos to the patient women above… Hope they find love eventually…
Truth is the word ‘patient’ is some word that can’t be used to describe most human beings. And you should here us trying to lure those we have crushes on “I am one very patient person. Patience is my other name. Let’s face it… the pressure has more than often been on us finding love. Being alone scares the crap out of us. And when you imagine being alone till you shed that skin… now that is something Ria just can’t imagine. So we pressurize ourselves and we decide to do what we do best… SETTLE!!!
Trust me, THE WAIT aint that interesting… that’s what kills the spirit. But who said we have to SETTLE? Most of us thing we have waited long enough… we decide to settle for bad relationships thinking its better than being alone. IT AINT!!!
Love should start with you. Discover what makes you happy. And if you don’t love yourself enough, how the hell would you expect the other person to know what you really want in a relationship if all you do is SETTLE?
Its worth the wait. And if someone loves you, they will walk a mile to make you happy. Stop putting pressure on yourself. And just DON’T SETTLE. It doesn’t matter how long you wait. You will find the right person. The people who found love late in life all say its worth the wait. Why settle? Why rush it.
This is your shrink Ria signing off…

Hi Ria.
I can tell these ladies did not have AfroRomance to use lol….
I must add you are right again as always, one must love them self before they can love someone else. But that is a good thing.
All my Respect,
Thomas

Hi Ria,
Thanks for your article, very refreshing. And you are very right we should have patience and not just settle for the first man we meet because we are afraid of being alone.
Comment by Lisa on 1 March 2007:
..sometimes are expectations can be a bit unrealistic, if you have enough in common, why not give love a chance? No one is perfect and we are not meant to be solitary creatures.. Live and love.. Happy hunting to all..
Sincerely,
Lisa

well..its always be good to be patient…and for us men..sometimes persistence pays off…but after awhile….we begin to wonder if women want love and great sex and companionship or if ultimately they prefer a provider–or some guy who is basically rich and super-established…!?..either way..its a two way street….and more and more these days its totally cool if a woman That im interested in takes a long time to make up her mind…is playing the field so to speak….theres so much to see and do in this great nation of ours…along with sports all year long…its fine if a woman doesnt “want to settle”—and takes her time….it really is!!!!….

Waiting is a good thing but who says one cannot live their life while they are waiting on what they want. I love this article and one thing I always tell myself I am always one step closer to the right one for me…. So ladies, don’t settle for less than what you want because there will be someone there who will just adore and love you… be blessed!.

A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the
entrance is a description of how the store operates:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs
She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
‘That’s nice,’ she thinks, ‘but I want more.’
So she continues upward…
The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
‘Wow,’ she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help with Housework.
‘Oh, mercy me!’ she exclaims, ‘I can hardly stand it!’
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.

P.S. Isn’t selling husbands reverting back to Slavery ?
