The video swept the internet in 2008. The internet has become faster hence favoring most users especially with the availability of more and more options for viewing videos online. People are now running to the web to watch these videos for entertainment.
However some are using these online viral videos as a marketing strategy to drive attention to their products and services. And this trend of getting people’s attention didn’t pass the online dating world. Online dating sites are using viral videos to get attention of millions of people and drive traffic to their dating sites.
If viral videos are working for dating sites as a whole don’t you think its high time for individuals to make use of this marketing tool in 2008? Of course we are already seeing user generated content growing big, with people recording and uploading their own videos. But what if this year you use the same tactic of marketers and ambitious entrepreneurs to get dates?
I guess this year, we expect to see viral videos for individuals looking to market their online ads and get dates drawing attention to their profiles online.
So, if you were to employ this technique, what tricks would you employ to capture people’s attention and make them watch your online dating video? Vulgar language, a video of you showing some booty or ding ding? (Just kidding 
). Do you think this is an avenue to consider?

I’d make a video of me talking like I’m talking to a friend, while I’m relaxed, driving my cruising boat on a beautiful day: Inviting, relaxed, happy and in my elements. A video of me driving my racing sailboat boat faster than most waterski would be a bit intense, jiggly and noisy, even if the crashes are fun to watch!
