Racial and ethnic minorities are geographically dispersed throughout the United States, with Hispanics and Asians being the fastest growing minority groups in the United States as a whole.
What do you think may have caused such an increase in immigrants? Being Brazillian-Italian raised in America, I think am reason enough. I am a product of procreating immigrants

Given the growth rate above, it means that, the Non-Hispanic White (European- American according to our polls) population seems to be having the lowest growth rate hence the answer.
With such racial diversity in the US, one tends to wonder why there still is racism. And with most of the immigrants having relationships with native Americans, and procreating with native Americans, why is it that interracial relationships and moreso mixed race individuals are still being looked at with such prejudice?
Although racism has become increasingly salient in the context of the dramatic increase in racial and ethnic diversity in the United States, it’s my hope that in years to come, we will have to learn to live adventurously and courageously in human relationships, as we are learning to do in the realms of international relations and interplanetary space.

Actually, I had taken spanish lessons years ago. Now I work with spanish speakers. I want to learn and pronto. I should know it by now….

I am a white male. I wish this country was all African American. That is the best race of all. I hate being white. I am against all the Hispanics coming to America ILLegally It Is time to stop it. I don`t feel I should have to learn spanish. They should pass a law making it illegal to come to America if you can`t or Don`t want to learn English. I am tired of everyone catering to them in Spanish. If you want to live here learn English or go back to your Latin country or whatever planet you came from. They come here and take all of our Jobs an they are not American Citizens that is wrong!!!

Yes I know Fala, and it will be so easy to learn because they speak it all the time. But I am conflicted, I love French and know some of if and would like to learn it. I also have another job where my boss speaks french all the time. But my boss and I do not always get along so well and when I tried to speak it to her she became contrary. French speakers are like that. Very impatient. lol What’s a girl to do?

Kizzoom, it is disturbing to read that you do not like being White. You and everyone else has no control over what race they are. It is something you are born into. There is no such thing as a better race. I do believe in becoming a better person. Unfortunately, we live in a society that thrives on racial division and making one race envious of the other. You should be proud of your accomplishments as a person.
