I am looking for a special connection with a man of African, Caribbean, or African American ethnicity, since this has always been my natural attraction.
I am always happy, always laughing and finding cool ways to enjoy life. People say I have the usual Irish sense of humor - always trying to bring some fun to a situation. I enjoy travel, food, art, music, dancing, and any type of fun and friendship.
Living a healthy and spiritual (though not specifically religious) lifestyle is important to me, and I try to be grateful for my life's blessings and make a conscious effort to be a light to others and my community. I am sensitive to life around me... People's feelings, people's needs. I was a Peace Corps volunteer, and I try to continue to be mindful of the my role in other's lives. As a teacher, I am known for my development of projects that unite children of various socio-economic and ethnic origins, projects that create paradigm shifts in the minds of children and make the world a more harmonious place, as well as create opportunities that wouldn't otherwise exist. Truly, children just need the right opportunities and guidance.
As a spiritual view, I think if we spent just half of our time volunteering in our poorer neighborhoods and working on projects that create opportuities for struggling children, as we do sitting on pews in churches and debating doctrines, our communities would be stronger... And any and all Gods that ppl are arguing about in churches... Would be smiling with such joy. Many people helped me growing up, and nothing gives me more joy than paying that love forward.
On another note, I am very dedicated and loyal to all that is important to me. Super low maintenance, but able to clearly express feelings and needs when necessary. I think I am surprisingly easygoing and open-minded... I tend to question what I see and am taught and think independently. I try to be careful with adopting widely accepted rules and judgements, but prefer to think things through on my own. |
