Can you let strangers online decide how hot your date is?

Posted by Ria, 17 Nov 10

online date hotnessWhatever happened to just asking your friends what they think of your date in terms of physical appearance? Ok. So friends sometimes lie to us just to stroke our egos. But now we want to take this to the online front?

I must admit I have told myself “I can do better” in my never-ending search for the one. Plus I am sure some of us dating online don’t get responses from the ones we emailed because they probably saw our photos and went... “OMG! WFT! I can do better.” But then sometimes you just don’t trust your judgment.

Well, if you are not sure of the hotness of your date you can now rely on cyberspace to tell you this for sure. On the website Candobetter.com , users can upload picture of themselves and the person they are hoping to date (from their Facebook profile or any other online profile) and (as the sites motto puts it) “Let the World Decide” if you “candobetter”, your date “candobetter” or whether you are a perfect match. This website even has categories dubbed “Girls Who CanDoBetter” and “Guys Who CanDoBetter”.

Your perfect partner could be online right now...

What are you looking for?

Do we really have to rely on total strangers to tell us whether to date or not date someone based on their level of attractiveness? What happened to inner beauty? Damn! We are so vain!
