You must sing this to the melody of Crosby, Stills and Nash’s “Love the one you’re with”…

If you’re down and confused
And you’re tired of satisfying you
hornyness is here to stay

And your baby is so far away.
Well, pack your coat and a glove
Take a plane that flies above
Cause if you can’t be with the one you love
Pay someone to have sex with

Love the one you’re with Okay, so it needs a little work, you get the idea right? Have you ever had the notion to pay for play? It’s the oldest known profession, somebody is out there doing it, would you?

Trust me when I tell you that it is so easy to pass judgment and say that we would never be so desperate to pay to have sex with someone. However, putting your morals, values and religious beliefs aside, it does make sense that this service would exist, be popular and profitable for some societies right?

Now as an all American girl born and raised, the stereotypes and images of prostitutes that come to my mind all include some skanky looking chick with a short skirt and halter top walking down a dark street and getting in the back of a car or checking into some seedy motel. Let us not forget the ever-popular role of the pimp. If you listen to today’s music, you already know that Pimpin’ is back, however, it’s “hard out there for a pimp”.

Now, since we have already thrown out morals, values and religious beliefs. I must state that when I talk about prostitution, I’m in no way referring to human trafficking, children or anyone being forced to perform sexual acts. For the sake of this article and argument, we are talking about consenting adults that engage in sexual acts for money.

Now if you are considering paying for love in all the right places and you happen to be in the U.S. well there is not many choices for you. Nevada is known to be the hot spot for all things “off limits” everywhere else. The truth is that prostitution is illegal in Los Vegas. You would have to travel to Nye County or northern Nevada. There you can find several licensed “ranches” that are regulated by the state. This just means that a doctor…on a regular must check out their employees. The chance that any of these places would be involved in any “illegal” activity such as racketeering, drugs or child pornography is extremely rare as it would but them at risk of losing their state license.

I’m sure that asking you to put aside your morals, values and religious beliefs is like asking a person to look at something from a “mother or father’s perspective” and not as a woman or man…there are some things that you just can’t separate. Personally, I put prostitution in the same class as alcohol. It’s so much easier to control something when you know where it is and who’s consuming it. Of course, there will be those that still want to sell it out of their basements on Sunday’s after hours or to those not old enough to buy it. However, you get that whether it’s legal or not.

Some believe that prostitution, pornography and other forms of commercialized sex, despite being a multibillion-dollar industry only cater to a small number of consumers. That legalizing it will break up families, homes and communities. Increase violence, drugs and crime. Sounds like a good argument for gun control. Oh, there I go again forgetting that I live in a place where it is better to make war NOT love.

I’m all for getting love when and where you can find it. If you have to pay for it, well do you baby. As long as you’re not taking it against someone’s will and they are not being forced to sell it to you. Who am I to judge? Everything is not for everyone. Know what is right for you and move along.

Well this subject is a gray area, is it not…to do or not to do…

I used to have a friend who said all women are prostitutes…it just is what they will settle for…why not go for the gold.

With todays STD’s that can stay with you FOREVER and OR kill you…I think we should all be careful!

    Good luck in your search.

    Southern smiles,
    Sharon

Without addressing the common wisdom that everyone pays for sex, I’d have to say that actually forking over cash money in order to exchange bodily fluids is not something that I am interested in doing. I’m not going to sit in judgement of anyone who does, it just isn’t my cup of, well let’s say tea.

For me, there is more to sex than sex. That kind of physical intimacy is something that I would rather reserve for someone with whom I have some other kind of intimacy. Otherwise it isn’t any better than what I have flying solo. A nut is a nut. Shared with someone I care about the whole act is raised to a higher plain.

It’s not that I’m cheap (though you might get some to testify that I am). I feel the same way about trying to pick someone up just for sex.

Now, I haven’t always felt this way and I may not always feel this way. But right now, that’s the State of Nick

I don’t know what to say as the article is defending a kind of situation some people may get involved in.Having sex without Love is something very difficult for me to accept as i have been experienced it several times in my life. Some other people can easily have sex without Love. The article is comparing paying sex as drug to get controlled ; that’s mean paying sex maybe very dangerous as we may get addicted to.Maybe touching yourself thinking of your Lover would be better than going out to pay for sex.

To each his own…if someone is alone and they need sexual healing, that’s on them. Not something I would ever do, but as long as there are men/women out there who will pay for it, there will be hookers to accomodate them.

I agree with Coco. Right or wrong – as long as somebody out there is willing to pay for it – somebody will be selling it.

On this article I can’t pass judgement a friend of mines married a man that said that all women are hookers and that why they marry them. To each his own true. She left him after he was seeing someone who in return gave her a disease. I can’t say if it is right or wrong but it is not worth dying for.

I never thought about wanting a prostitute before because it’s illegal and I’m personally not stupid enough to want to catch a disease or being busted for solicitation.
