Is interracial dating like laundry really? Let’s see the comparison. Laundry – don’t mix whites with the colored. Dating… Don’t mix whites with the colored. Some just look at it like that underwear daddy in the video clip. It’s the same concept they have. The whites will get tarnished!!! I’ve never understood the problem people have with interracial dating. Well some people say that they are afraid that one day everyone will be mixed and races will die out. And what if that happens? What if we all became mixed someday? Wouldn’t it be nice?

There is nothing wrong with being mixed. And there is nothing wrong with interracial dating. Its not laundry people. Ethnicity should be no reason for people not to date. Those are my few words for the day.

If we ever get to the point where everyone is “mixed” maybe we won’t need to classify people by race. Or who knows? maybe you’ll still see people falling into groups along ethnic lines: the black asians don’t get along with the white latinos who don’t care for the black/white mixes who don’t really want to hang out with the white/latino/asian/blacks.
    Wouldn’t that be ironic?

On certain job applications they have an optional question that questions someone’s race. That would be great if that question was entirely eliminated since everyone would have to say mixed race.
I still believe that if we were to trace our roots that is the answer now for everyone.

I don’t think we’ll all be one race for a long, long time. Even though I understand some of the issue lying in people’s objection to interracial dating/marriage, I don’t agree at all. But do we really need to sit here and compare it to laundry? That sounds a little juvenile, doesn’t it, folks?

It will be a long time in this country before we’re one race. If ever! I think the point is to start the debate by comparing it to laundry.

    Very ironic point Fala!
