This unspeakable act of racism happened at Walthamstow Central train station last Sunday. Sadly the poor little boy suffered a broken collarbone after the racially motivated attack and was taken to hospital where he was treated for it. What's more annoying is that the suspect managed to flee the scene and the police have released CCTV images of him appealing to the public to come for information on this thug.

"We know it was a racist attack because of what the mother reported the man as saying. He was commenting on the colour of the child's skin which he was saying was slightly lighter in colour that the mother's", said a British Transport Police spokesperson.

What in the world is this? How could someone be so hateful to the extent of attacking a mother without a care for the baby? What is happening people? So she has a mixed race child. Is she not supposed to live her life, board trains in peace? Its sad that some people still are this barbaric. Poor kid! Hope they catch this sorry a** SOB!!!

I'm really shocked that such a thing could happen in this day and age let alone in Walthamstow. It's a very culturally diverse part of town. I remember getting negative comments from people when I would push my mixed race daughter along in her buggy but that was 14 years ago.

That's horrible. If I was there, I would have jumped in to help her. Where were the bystanders?

What century are we living in? This kind of crap still exist. This is beyond shameful & hurtful. Ya gotta wonder what was going on in that attackers heart at that moment. why is there so much torement in their heart? As for the child he/she will continue on with life and this memory will forever be erased in his/her lil mind. As for the mom keep it movin no matter the difficulty because your bigger and better than an "occurance".

I doubt if the guy did that because he was black..It is a sick attitude and such kind of people should not be left on the street. How does it concern him if the baby is red or green. Its a shame and really sorry for the baby let us pray for the quick recovery and the mum too for the physocological torture.

This was a deplorable act and I hope the scumbag is found in an alley dead. However let's not pretend it's the black men that go around attacking people based off of color.
