They Wouldn’t Have Met Any Other Way
Frantz didn’t like living his life around scheduled “meet and greets” and other singles-oriented events. Online dating allowed him to get to know people more efficiently, at convenient times and from the comfort of home.
Angelina had opted out of the standard dating scene some time before. For her, the allure of online dating was the opportunity to connect with someone she probably wouldn’t meet by conventional means.
Someone like Frantz. Angelina noticed a photo on his profile that showed him with his mother. She liked that Frantz had thought to put such a picture on the site.
When Angelina reached out to Frantz, he looked at her profile and thought she was beautiful. It wasn’t long before they were spending hours on the phone each day. Angelina came all the way from England, where she lives, for their first date.
Their first impressions of each other were about the same. Both say they thought something along the lines of “oh yeah, this is gonna be good!”
Today, Angelina and Frantz are engaged to be married. They have a plan for dealing with the geographical challenges of this pairing. “I am moving to England for a while,” Frantz explains. “A few years later, we will move back to Cape Cod!”
