Hmmm, I guess you could say that I'm just a guy looking to share thoughts and words with just a girl. Like me, she should be on a search for real friendship and not just the leave you empty and lonely exchange that this world seems to have a lot of. I am an easy going clean and decent guy. As my profile says, I am spiritual but not religeous. In this I appreciate and respect the earth and the beauty it provides. I can truly appreciate the beauty of raindrops on a window pain, the glitter of snowflakes spilling from a winter sky. I find joy in the feeling of winters chill, springs warm breeze, and finding myself in the rain on a hot summers day or night. Beauty abounds in the simplest things if we just take the time to see it. This of course also includes taking the time to see the best in all who cross our path. It is so easy to judge another but in doing so we just might overlook what makes them special in their own unique way. I dislike drama in my life unless I am watching it in the movies. I dislike those who criticize others when such action are based soley on perceptions or appearences. Always take time to help others no matter the situation. I love all animals and view their lives as equal to all other life. I frown on the killing of innocent animals known as the sport of hunting.
I could go on and on and on but I guess I should wrap it up here. If your lookig to share a little of your soul you might just be what I need. I say, Love and respect the earth, enjoy the beauty in the small things, practice kindness over hate and in the end we'll all do just fine.
Me: 5'11" Tall, 174 lbs, 33" waist, 32" inseam, 11 shoe, I am self employed, for about 16 years now. College studies were in accounting but career is in Biomed. Somedays I work long hours, somedays I catch a break and grab some downtime. I live in Maryland but have property in and hope to retire to Western New York in an area near Angelica, NY. My father was primarily of European Heritage, my mother was of a very high percetage of Native American Heritage.
Music is perhaps one of my favorite things. I am mainly a listener and listen to many varied genres. I hold local season symphony tickets each year. I enjoy the sounds of Steve Tyler and Aerosmith, have met them on several occassions. One of my favs who I met on numerous occassions prior to his death who many knew simply as "G" , Grover Washington Jr. Who is gone but never to be forgotten. I have sat at many Jazz festivals and enjoyed talking with, Bob Baldwin, Mindy Abair (a real sweetheart), Dave Coz, Chris Botti, Brian Culbertson, Grover and many others in Jazz. In my retirement years I do hope to finally master my own Sax's but for now work takes that time. I also collect signed guitars having obtained VanHalen (1995) , Aerosmith (early 2000), several of James Taylor, Motley Crue, more to come. I enjoy reading andenjoy, Frost, Poe, Welty,
Hemmingway, Updike, etc. I am currently reading the "Soloist"
Which is a very good read so far.
I hope to retire someday soon. Being self employed for the past 16 or so years I have worked extremely hard as a private Biomed Contractor to the US Government. Having done so I look forward to and am deserving of an early retirement. In my job I utilize all within my resources and skill to keep United States Disabled Veterans up and active in the game of life. Their ability to get out and about many times hinges on my abilities as a technician. |
