I am English and Israeli... Living in New York and London. I'm in London for a few months recording my album. I live for creativity... I am a record producer and songwriter by trade but now have a management company for celebs and talent as well as a well known film festival. Some quite rhetorical questions..:
1. Do you really find it difficult to find an honest man, that you actually have to qualify it as a quality you are looking for IN a man? Thats a sad state of affairs... I believe in transparency... I guess that's why I get some negative response to my forwardness...
2. Do you really think that you are the only person that he or she is talking to on this site? Just by the nature of dating sites, I would feel abit worried if I WAS the only person you were talking to during our first few conversations, unless you had an epiphany and joined because u had a dream with the words "seek soulglider on afro romance" and even then that would make me go hmmm. Self worth is paramount. I respect it as well as emulate it.
3. People have been so intimidated... Insulted by an honest opinion and expression as if I should be ashamed for having it lol how about you?: as follows:
Its not that I'm about sex... I would like to share my feelings on the subject of sex : And for those who have a hang-up when sex is mentioned, I make no apology. For me sex is AS important as personality, intelligence and heart! Just because I am a sexual person doesn't mean I don't like to use my above average IQ. There is nothing more in the world than FEELING WANTED like u are the only person around.
The Reason I make this point about sex... It is important that people realize we are physical beings, and though ultimately we aspire to meet minds and hearts and souls... Our day to day existence is fueled by attraction and compatibility... There is NOTHING worse than someone feeling they don't get enough love and attention and the the other feeling pressured that they don't give enough love and attention.
If you didn't take what I wrote above for what it was, then there are an unlimited amount of placating men out there that will give u wonderful... Short term greatness, with long term weakness. Lies are still lies even when they become apparent in the end :)
RELIGION : So not to make a big deal out of this... But if u are religious and wish to actually discuss this topic with me, then you should be ready for your convictions to be challenged, not with blind stubbornness but with supported fact and worldly knowledge. If I am told one more time "the bible tells you so" then I will discuss the possibilities of a teapot in orbit around the planet, and although u have never seen it... Believe me... Its there... I read it in this old book...!!!.. My book.. Your book... Who's to say who's right?...
(i dont seek to, nor do I expect any confrontational, or challenge conversations... This is a platform for romance right?)
Point is, I am an avid student of Theology, Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology not to mention a childhood love for ancient civilizations... So... A QUALIFIED opinion is the only one you should express with me... Otherwise.. It gets boring real fast... Unless of course u want to be educated.. And I love to teach... I am jewish by the way!!! As a way of life.. And ironically, I'm spiritual fueled by humanity's perseverance with empathy.. Even today.. I hope.
Anyway, on a final note, I really do hope u treat me with as much consideration and respect as you would anyone you may know in person... In both cases, a man with feelings is involved and the platform by which we met does not mean I deserve such respect any less. |
