I am kind, nurturing, independent, content in my career as an educator, open-minded, romantic, playful and a bit old fashion. I have been both a teacher and an assistant principal. I returned to my first passion of teaching because it is more rewarding for the students and myself. I love being God's child, I love being a mom of three easy to raise children, two of who are young adults now. I consider myself blessed.

I like family gatherings and usually cook for family and friends during the holidays. I like r&b, some old school, and can tolarate a little bit of rap. I enjoy outdoor jazz concerts, movies, picnics, shows, short trips to the mountains, and fishing (though I am not good at it). I enjoy having a girl's day with my daughers and I enjoy watching Sunday and Monday night football with my son. I love cozying up on the couch in front of the fireplace. I love flowers. I like to plant them and love to recieve them. Currently there are three pets in the house, a dog, a cat and a snake. In my spare time I like painting statuary pieces, drawing, painting a little bit, writing poetry, people watching, reading and selling Mary Kay products.

I believe anyone you have contact with on this earth is for a reason. Be it very brief, to long term. So thank you to those who even take time to just say hello.

Flirts can be frustrating, as are those who write with no photos. I am trying to be patient with you.

I don't know how long I will be on this site, but for as long as I am here I look forward to the new friends I will meet.
