Freelance online dater wanted

Posted by Ria, 31 Mar

Ok. This one was spotted on Elance and I thought it was a GEM!

Find your soulmate on AfroRomance

“I am extremely busy at the moment but wish to arrange some dates in my free time, am seeking someone who is fluent in English to use my online dating account to make connections and set up dates with local women in my area.᾿

Ok… seriously would you trust someone to do your online dating for you? Leave alone trusting them … you pay them? I thought online dating was supposed to make us squeeze in dating in our busy lifestyles. So how do you help someone who is too busy to date online? Where does this dude work?

A commitee is filled with people , who can do Nothing alone / Yet when gathered in a Group - They decide that Nothing can be Done . And make a quarter million a year for Life - They are called Poli - [ WHICH MEANS MANY in Latin ] Tics [ which are Blood Sucking creatures ] I was teased here for years and like the idea his person has as far as Time Wasted talking to Ladies , who did not Desire an Honest Man . May they spend their nights in one night stands , some words even I will not use in Public to describe these People . My Life is Full of Happiness now . Looking back We did reap that which we sowed .

The only person, I think I would trust is a good friend who has known me over 20 years. I think it is possible for someone who knows you well to screen potential dates for you.

While I would certainly not be interested in meeting someone who is too busy to go through the process of the internet dating himself, I agree with most of the men here and the southern lady who suggest that the man who posted this ad is no worse than anyone else who gets help finding a date. People are paid millions to play "alcahueta" or "medianera", (match-maker) for wealthy people who say they are too busy to weed through the chaff to find the right dating candidates. The proxy simply looks at all of the candidates and based upon a list of criteria created by the person looking, chooses the candidates that would best meet those criteria. I seriously don't see any difference in this and the having someone set you up on a blind date in THEORY. However, I am more hands on, I would need to be completely involved in the process of choosing my possible mate.

Hi, Eathan: I think it's more likely to be considered "an escort service".

So this cat is too busy to arrange his dates? Then would he be too busy to actually go on the dates as well? As crazy as this sounds, there are services that do this for people, especially men. However they are illegal in 49 states and most of Nevada as well.

He's not too busy to date. He is too busy to read profiles and reply. Which is understandable. Perhaps instead of taking the time to get to know ppl online he would rather have a list of qualifiers and anyone that fits them he arranges a date with so he can meet them in person. I doubt his proxy is actually communicating multiple times with these girls.. Probably more like. "Hello, I find you very attractive, perhaps we could meet for coffee during the day..." Now.. I would wonder what kind of girls would want to meet solely based on profile and not communication.. Casual Encounters perhaps? But eventually serious people actually want to meet unless they are online dating to boast their egos.. or just have a penpal. In theory what he is doing is kind of like blind dating, speed dating, or better yet.. hiring a matchmaker. On a similar but not as outrageous tip.. A friend of mine a 50 something year old shy white man asked me to write his online dating profile for him. And he was serious! Some people just arent good at the whole dating thing. I'm a member or Elance.. Let me bid on that gig!

Hi, backpacker77: Don't you think that if he is TOO BUSY TO COMMUNICATE with a woman, then why in the world would he waste his money on hiring someone else to do his date seeking? Doesn't that mean he's TOO BUSY to be with a woman period?

OK ladies.....are you sure he is married. Could it possibly be that he is too busy? Sounds to me as if he doesn't know how to communicate with women. Cyrano de Bergerac might still need a job, wooing the beautiful Roxanne.

ok this is just sad. if the dude doesnt have time to be online dating himself then why oh why would he want someone else to do it for him? it makes no sense at all. for all he knows should someone actually be silly enough to take the job, they might pick out someone totally incompatible with him. i mean how well can you know someone that you just hired on as an "aide" so to speak unless they are a friend. and my friends do not try to hook me up, i can find my own men thanks. and as far as the arranged marriages go, i think it is an insult to the woman, but some countries have been doing it for years and it seems to work just fine. all that said, to each his own

OH dear, I am afraid that I am going to have to have the different opinion here. I do not see any issue with this... Are not your friends and family always trying to fix you up with some one single that they know? I don't know about the rest of you out there but if there were 48 hours in the day, I still would not have enough time to do everything I want and need to do. Marriages used to be arranged and some still are. SO.........I say yeah, thumbs up. The results will be the same. Either it is there or it isn't! Southern smiles and world peace, Sharon

Hi Rissa and Frenchpam, I think this guy is a loser and pathetic to the core. He is obviously married and lying to himself that there is nothing wrong since someone else is doing the dirty job. I can only pity the woman if any behind this clown.

Hi, frenchpam: I just hope this guy doesn't get any takers. If he does, I will be so disappointed in the person who supports his obnoxious request. At least I've learned something from that post; and that is to listen intently to my intuition. Never let your guard down. This online dating process can be such a tenuous experience.

This guys reeks of "I'm a very married man!" Who does he thinks he's kidding? Give me a break. I thought I've read them all; but this one takes the cake. It goes to show you some people will try just about anything to cheat on their partners and not take full responsibility for his/her actions. He's just a pitiful jerk.
