Happy Valentine's Day
According to a recent poll dubbed "Where's the Romance?" 70% of men say they are likely to wait until the last minute to make plans for Valentine's Day citing lack of time, lack of priority and lack of ideas. Caesars Pocono Resorts, the commissioner of the survey, asked men and women in relationships about romantic activities: gift giving, romantic plans and who is responsible for wooing.

According to the poll, women want something a little creative. 68% of women feel that the man should be responsible for planning something special on this day.
Some men usually feel like Valentine's day is some holiday imposed on them by women. But will it be too much to ask of a man to plan something special for the person he claims to love? Well ladies, lets hope you wont get a box of trojans for Valentines. And dudes, even if you don't believe in Valentine's day, try harder this time ... surprise her.
Happy Valentine's day to you all.

I say Valentine Day is not all about gifts, I would just settle for a night alone without phones or pagers going off every 10 minutes, Just a nice cozy cuddle up just the two of us. But Valentine Day for lovers should be everyday not just one day of the Year showing that to your lover sometime means a lot.

I love romance. Here is a holiday on which we have the opportunity to transcend Hallmark and show our significant other how and how much we care. A little thought and a little creativity go a long way toward making her/him know how special they are to us. It shouldn't end on February 15th however.

Truth be told, I think V'day is for men. The only reason you get the candy, flowers, lingerie, etc...is because they are looking for their treat for being so generous at the end of the day. The good news is that both parties are happy at the end of the day :)

I've always thought of this as a day where guys & ladies have equal reponsibility in showing their love. Any show of love & affection will be appreciated no matter how simple & it doesn't have to be planned. A nice night out or something extra special is nice too when you can do it. No stress though, ok? **** Happy Valentines Day to All ! ! !

I agree with the comments of Tigerlillies. You have to know the person u are with and what pleases them. I have often been disappointed on V-day because I received things that show the guy really does not know me. I don't like chocolates yet I have received them. I don' drink yet I have been given Champagne. Come on guys, you gotta know your ladies!

Well...gifts of any season are better when they are thought out. My last husband always got me flowers...which I hated...I finally told him... Guys have no clue...from then on...I would leave him clues as to what I wanted...MY favorite one was a pic of sometyhing I wanted that I put in his sandwich and he ate....that was enough for me...I laughed until I peed in my panties... His best feature was that he ate what ever I made him and never complained. His grandmother taught him that. She told him if someone took the time to fix him something to eat...the least he could do is eat it and keep his mouth shut. Ya gotta love her! HAPPY vALENTINES DAY Y'ALL...good luck in your search! sOUTHERN SMILES AND WORLD PEACE, sHARON

Romance doesn't mean just flowers or a box of chocolate. Too many guys do the usual... flowers, chocolate, movie, jewelery. You have to know the girl you're with. Maybe she's on a diet, is allergic to flowers and doesn't wear earrings or a necklace. I rather have a guy cook dinner for me and watch mushy love stories any day. Or go play pool. Or play in the snow... Just knowing that you know what I like is what counts, not the price of something.

I Love to romantic and show the love to women that I am with. I don't know how Valentine's Day became all about the women. It's a partnership. Relationships are about give and take not just give or take. Valentine's Day is about the love 2 peolpe share not for the man to be having to rush to get his loved one a gift. If the women is looking for creativity then why don't they express the vision they have in mind for the man instead of waiting to see what he may have come up with. Now if the man decides to take the reigns and wants to express his creativity all be it. Same goes for men towards women. Bottom line is this day is special because it's about being couples period. It's not who tops who or you have to top the last gift or surprise you did for me. It's about why couples are together and share the day with each other.

The best valentine's day I ever had was when I got daffodil bulbs of every type!! I planted them and every year I had a reminder that someone actually knew what pleased me and made me happy. I dont think that can ever be topped. It was simple and lovely and perfect.
