Mercy -- who knew it would be this difficult to find a match? I believe I have so much to offer that special someone, I have a good heart and I am willing to be open to the possibility of getting to know one another. I am absolutely sincere about finding someone whom I am able to compliment and he is able to compliment me. With that said... I have the utmost confidence in declaring that I am a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful woman; I can unequivocally keep my man happy in all facets of a committed relationship therefore I cannot settle for anything short of a wonderful man. It would behoove me not to seek a mate who isn't on the same level in the more important aspects of life including emotional, social, professional, moral and educational compatibility. Although I would like to add, while I find that education is a necessary factor in life, it is certainly not the most important; I have seen educated people who are lacking in social graces, while I have seen seemingly uneducated people who are able to conduct themselves with grace and poise that would befit royalty. Additionally, my christianity and faith are important to me and I hope to find a man who also seeks to walk with christ and grow as one. My preference is a white man and if I may be particular - I'd truly like him to also have more than just a fondness or an infatuation for black women. He should desire my likeness in the same manner that I desire his - it's my hope to find an equally yoked mate and certainly he will seek a black woman as his unyielding preference. Surprisingly on this website of all places, I've received clamorous criticism from black men regarding my preference so I'd like to add that by no means does this preference insinuate even the slightest bit of hatred, disregard, and denigration for self or for anyone of any race but with all due respect I am not interested in dating or getting to know someone who doesn't fit the aforementioned physical characteristics. Please understand and respect my wishes. Finally, I don't want a player or someone who doesn't understand a relationship and the compassion, love and compromise that goes into making a relationship work. By no means am I looking for a short-term "hook up". This type of behavior is the hallmark of immaturity - my profile reads "long term relationship" and nothing other. Again, I am sincere about finding that special someone and I hope that he is also sincere about finding me. I have a great group of gal pals so I am not looking for just a mere "friend". I understand that friendship is a prerequisite for something deeper however I do want to make that known that I am seeking "something deeper" in time.
