I communicate very clearly, when I find it worth while to do so. Romantic.

I work a lot. Used to divide my time between my full-time job, performing/directing/producing professional theatre, consulting, + progressive democratic politics. My career leapt unexpectedly into high-gear two years ago - now job=life. I do know how to have a little fun with my job, though. Trying to balance my focus a little bit and regain a fraction of my formal social glory...

Randomness: I don't belong in DC but I've been stuck here for almost 10 years. NYC is more my style, but I'm not certain I'd want to live there forever. I love warm weather. I cannot stand apathy! Non-white men smile at me and flirt with me more on the Metro [and everywhere else] - and I don't mind a bit![I have theories on this topic.] If you haven't met with notable adversity and/or been out-and-out discriminated against for some immutable characteristic, we probably won't work in the long run. It's sad, but so far true... Also, I work in a male-dominated industry and have a team of mostly men who work for me and like to please me. They also like my shoes.;)
