"Confidence."
Just wanted to give another update since it has been a few months - I have been moved into a role with more responsibility at work (now hold 3 positions... I think management is trying to see what it takes to break me :p), and because of this I have been traveling to New Jersey one week out of every month to correspond with our satellite company out there. Good news for me is that I've been told I'm being groomed for management, however it kills my social/dating life because I am constantly gone... And when I'm not at work, I am doing project work for this Master's degree program I'm enrolled in, or taking out my pent up aggression at the gym :p
Such is the life of the ambitious, I guess. I do love hearing from people on here, however just as fair warning - I don't expect anyone to be interested in putting up with my lifestyle right now... I'm constantly in transit it seems - and I can imagine how much it would suck to try to get to know someone on a romantic level when they are always busy and away on business. But if that doesn't bug you, or if you are just wanting to make a new friend - then don't hesitate to leave me a message to come back to :)

I can't believe I have been out of school for almost a year now, but things are settling in nicely... Near the end of last fall I closed on a house in a quaint little village on Winona Lake, just outside the city where I work - so there is a nice separation from the busy fast paced life of business, and the slow paced gentle life of this little artsy village.
Just thought I'd give an update, things are going great for me - taking my company by storm ;)... Who would have thought a fresh graduate would already be putting his name as inventor on three patents, and implementing independent continuous improvement measures that turns out to save the company $150 per hip stem manufactured - all within my first quarter of salaried employment. Oh, and I've already been moved up from just a Hip Design Engineer to being responsible for all warsaw instrumentation across all business units - not too shabby I'd say ;p

So I'm back from Japan, and I've started my career as a biomedical engineer. Thanks for all the good luck and congrats messages that I got to come back to, and for all the patience on my late responses :)
One thing I should let you all know is that, I have opted out of getting internet and cable at my apartment for now... Because I want to focus on work, and I have a lot of books I have wanted to read that I haven't had time for because of how hard school had been. So I won't be able to respond to any messages as fast as I would like - so please bear with me, I do love all your messages and will try to respond as fast as possible :)

I just finished my last quarter of school (in February), with a degree in biomedical engineering. I'm headed to Japan for a little vacation, and then I'm starting my career as a Senior Design Engineer at an orthopaedic company up in northern Indiana.
Sounds pretty nerdy huh? Haha... Even though I'm great at what I do and I always have to be the alpha male professionally, I am not all technically-oriented all the time. I love to paint (I do oils and some watercolors), be outside, go see live music, and in general try to make the most of every moment.

I just like to meet new people I guess... Now that I have graduated college, my social circle will be considerably smaller - so I thought I'd just give this site a shot... I don't have any expectations at the moment, but maybe someone reading this will take me by surprise ;)
