When Kasia joined our site, she had no idea she would meet her future husband here. “I wasn’t very optimistic, but I have a few friends who have met great guys online,” she says.
Napoleon thought our site offered an easier way to meet people. “I was attracted to the convenience of being able to chat with women without leaving my home,” he says. But Napoleon gave himself a “0% chance” of finding “the one” online.
Happily, they were both wrong.
“At first, it was his looks that drew me to read his profile,” Kasia confides. “Then, after I read it, I wanted to know everything about him.”
We’re always telling female members to find the men they like and contact them—a 21st Century approach to a 21st Century technology. But many women remain traditional and want to wait for someone special to find them.
Kasia broke with that tradition, and ultimately married the man she contacted. Napoleon was certainly glad she found his profile and Flirted with him. “I liked her pictures and her profile,” he says. “Not to be superficial, but she is the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen. The personality made her complete.”
In fact, Napoleon felt so strongly, so quickly, that for their first date he flew Kasia from Florida to New York so they could spend the weekend together! “Dinner, dancing, walks on the beach,” reminisces Kasia. “Quality time, which we used to get to know each other.”
She thought Napoleon “was really nice and looked even better in person” than he did in his profile pix. Napoleon had an immediate reaction to Kasia when they met in the flesh. “This is going to seem cliché, but for me it was love at first sight,” he admits. “I had never felt this way before but by the time the weekend was over, I was convinced we would be married.”
Napoleon’s prediction proved accurate, and now these newlyweds are concentrating on sharing the joys of life with their partner and best friend.
“We have really good chemistry,” observes Kasia. “We share the same interests, and it all came together at the perfect time!”
Napoleon feels fortunate to have met someone who is so good to him. He says that “every moment we are together, she finds ways to show me that she loves me. She is so loving and sweet.”
We asked the couple what their plans are. “Building a loving family together,” says Kasia. Napoleon wants his wife to never doubt how cherished she is. “My plans are to show Kasia why she is special to me and make sure she is happy, every day!”

Im sorry. Not to sound like a negative nancy, but when I see these stories and the way they write them its really just “too good to be true”. No im not bitter at all and I wish anyone success. I am however a realist. The way the article was written and the “perfect” photos that were taken just reek of a markesting ploy that tries to sell the site even more and targets people by taking “advantage” of them.
My comments will probably be deleted as me speaking my mind would be seen as “detrimental to the spirit of the website”. When writing an article show the REAL stuff. Problems they had, awkwardness that was felt, etc. Also use photos that, to be honest need to look more “real” and not posed for.
No GOOD , lasting relationship starts and finishes this perfect.

Dear VAM: I’m sorry you feel this way. I am a “REAL” person who has used the website and I have found my “perfect” man!!! I live in the United States, my future husband in Tunisia. The difficulties we’ve had are: distance, network connections/cost of communicating by phone, different time zones, misunderstandings due to our different cultures, not being able to see each other all the time and overall negative reaction by others when they are told where and how we met.
We make it work because we have God as the center of our lives and relationship. When we have a misunderstanding, we talk it out and try to acknowledge each other’s points of view due to our cultural differences, In fact, after these misunderstandings we are closer in our love and understanding for each other.
On the other side, our families get along very well. I speak with someone from his family at least once a week (they live in Nigeria). He and my son get along great with each other. The two of us plan to meet for the first time next month. I’ll post pictures as soon as I can. Then there are some other travel plans for the three of us to go to Nigeria to meet his family and for him coming here to meet mine.
So yes, the site does work!! And what people say may sound cliche’ but it’s so true. I was pessimistic until it happened to me. Stay positive and you will find who you’ve been looking for all of your life too!!! Good luck and I’ll be praying for you!!

I met a great WM on a dating site, we fell in love within a month. Ha! Guess you know how that ended up. Yes we did want to marry each other within two months he wanted me to move in (I did not move in!)-he wanted to tattoo my name on his body, lol. Glad his friend talked him out of getting a tatt. Three months later I learned he was a short-tempered alcohoholic! But if had married him during those hot sweet first two months, I’d be a sad depressed wife.
Fact is, being hot to trot, having intense chemistry, most of the time, is a BAD indicator for long-term happiness. How much time does one spend in bed? What if the pretty lady has an accident, loses her looks? What if the man with money goes broke?
Frankly, it takes a year to get to know a person. If that was me, I’d have accepted an engagement ring and spent months getting to know him THEN setting a date. To each their own, I will continue my search for My Honey and again, I do wish them luck because they are gonna need it.

Am glad Napoleon did not misunderstand Kasia. For the man or woman you love, there certain traditions that have become outdated. For example, I always tell my fellow Christians that it is not a devilish act for a woman to fall for a man and make it known. Kasia thanks for that great move! Modern technology, modern thinking. My first husband was a “Love at First Site” experience and we were together 12 years and I made the first move so all that to say…it is possible to find instant happiness.
