Dating a smoothy? Watch your step!

Posted by Ria, 11 May

Have you ever been led on by someone you are dating only to find yourself in deep shit? Have you ever been with someone who is constantly flirting with you on end and leading you on to a point where your blood is all hot… boiling for them actually… only for your blood to be brought down to freezing point when someone says “you got it bad᾿?

When I was watching this video I cracked up laughing coz I didn’t see that one coming. I was so caught up in the ‘Titanic moment’ and suddenly WHAAAAAM!!!! That is when it hit me. Not everyone we date has best interests at heart. Poor woman was being lured straight into a post. And the two men even gave each other a hi-fucking-5 in the end

Find your soulmate on AfroRomance

But seriously, who wouldn’t have fallen for such attention? Who doesn’t want to hear the sweet nothings? These are the very things that make women and men cheat and betray the ones they love. The sweet little nothings. And before you know it, you hit that post in life… you lose the person you loved most and half of your riches.

So when it’s too good, I think its wise to just cool it down a bit. Coz when you hit that unexpected post …it may take you a while to be able to find the strength to get up… If you find it that is.

Am here giving all this advice I can’t follow. If it would have been me, I’d have hopped on that truck in a jiffy. Hey sue me… I love all the attention I can get.

So what kind of post have you ever slammed into? Give me some juicy stories peeps. I may just share mine depending on how juicy yours are. Start typing…

Everyone on this site talks about how wonderful they are, and how wonderful you had better be-all lies and bs. From here on in I only respond to women who are honest enough to refer to themselves as being pure evil.

Yes, there are a lot of time wasters, but you never know when you will find the needle in the haystack! Look at Matt and Jenn...nothing like a great success story!

Sorry to hear that Khandi, but at least you found out relatively soon. Unfortunately there are a lot of those out there. But hey, you live, you learn and now you know better.

During a period of four months I corresponded-by phone and email-with a woman from Toronto, who by all measure seemed most sweet, intelligent, and stable. I flew to meet her one August day; she turned out to be so emotionally and psychologically (read: scary) unstable that I flew home the next morning (we'd planned to spend three days together). Be carefull...there are some very deceitful people out there.

This is so true... I've only been a member for a few months and already have been strung along by a wonderful "single" guy... who then confided in me, among other details, that he was "entangled" in a current relationship... But dude is still online... scoping out new chicks... with a girlfriend at home... *smh*

Yeah when things are going really well - slow down - it's just a matter of time before the other shoe drops.
